MobileIron and Samsung to Deliver New Level of Android Security with Integration of Samsung KNOX™ Platform and MobileIron AppConnect

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileIron, a leader in security and management for mobile apps, content, and devices, today announced that it will work with Samsung to integrate its AppConnect containerization technology with the KNOX^TM platform, Samsung's end-to-end secure mobile solution designed to provide advanced data and privacy protection for both enterprises and consumers. This integration is intended to give customers a strong level of security on Samsung KNOX-enabled devices.

AppConnect for KNOX will integrate AppConnect with the KNOX platform into a single solution where AppConnect-enabled apps directly leverage the security features of the KNOX platform. With the ability to separate enterprise and personal environments, consumers will be able use a single device for work and personal use.
