Mobile Integrated Systems and Quantitative Alpha Trading Release First Mobile Application Under Partnership Agreement
TORONTO, June 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobile Integrated Systems, Inc. (OTC: MIBI) and Quantitative Alpha Trading Inc. (CNSX: QAT) are pleased to announce the beta release of the first mobile application under the previously announced partnership to co-develop and market a family of securities tracking mobile apps called Market Sentiment Navigator (MSNav) or the app.
The first in an eventual family of securities tracking mobile apps, MSNav Mobile is immediately available for download in the Google Play App Store (formerly Android App Store). The BlackBerry version will be released by mid July. The iPhone version will follow later in the year. During the Beta period the application will be free to download and use with full functionality. Normally the user would pay a monthly fee to use the app.
"This synergistic partnership has quickly borne fruit. The combined teams have executed as expected and delivered the first co-developed app, MSNav Mobile," said Murray Simser, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Integrated Systems. He added, "MSNavMobile is a unique mobile property that will enable traders to penetrate market sentiment through an awareness of what is overbought or oversold. That it is available free during the Beta period should enable many users to try before they buy."
MSNav Mobile's unique mobile sentiment-based securities tracking system will offer traders and investors tremendous insights into what any electronically traded securities' price might look like in the near future. The ability to harness this intelligence on a mobile device should prove extremely valuable to any trader.
"We are delighted to release this incredible technology to traders. We have chosen to follow traditional software release methodologies to ensure we deliver a quality stable product to the market. Initially we will offer MSNav Mobile free during the Beta period, then we will release the paid commercial version. The Beta period serves two purposes, the ability to fix bugs before the commercial release and to increase awareness of the apps capabilities," said James McGovern, Chief Executive Officer of Quantitative Alpha Trading.
Initially the beta version of MSNav Mobile will be available free of charge on Android and Blackberry devices through the end of September 2012. In October 2012 the free product will be discontinued and replaced with a paid version that includes a free trial. MSNav Mobile will be available on iOS including iPhone and iPad, as well as all Android and Blackberry devices.
