MMSDC & MBDA presents the 2nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Day

DETROIT, Sept. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) and Detroit Minority Business Development (MBDA) Center will host their annual Hispanic Heritage Day on September 11, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ford Field as part of its on-going Heritage Series, which honors and celebrates the businesses and business leaders of the African-American, Asian, Hispanic and Native American communities. The fee is $20, and includes all activities and events.

The event, presented by the Ford Motor Company, and sponsored by the Diez Group, BAE Industries, Caravan Facility Maintenance, the Ideal Group, Lear and Tri-Tec. The MMSDC and the Detroit MBDA Center are also proud to have the four Michigan Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and several Hispanic professional organizations as Community Partners. The Hispanic Heritage Day Celebration will feature Jim Avila of ABC News and former US Treasurer Anna Escobedo Cabral as keynote speakers. A special tribute for Hispanic Medal of Honor Awardees will be on exhibit presented by Vetbuilt Building Group.  The event will also include an awards ceremony presented by the Ford Hispanic Network, recognizing those who have made noteworthy contributions of leadership and advocacy on behalf of Hispanic issues.
