MMMMM….BEER - Sandestin's Baytowne Beer Festival, the Best Beer Fest on the Florida Coast, Offers a Friday and Saturday Full of Fun, and more than 200 Beers This Weekend

DESTIN, FL, Oct. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Known as the "Best Beer Fest on Florida's Emerald Coast," the Baytowne Beer Festival Festival at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers opportunities to sample craft beers from around the world, this Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19.

Friday, October 18
The kick-off for the Festival will be Marlin Grill's "Beer From Around Here" on Friday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. The finest local brews the Southeast has to offer will be paired with gourmet grilled meats, barbeque, decadent side dishes and sauces.  Tickets are $35 per person.

New this year will be a feature presentation at the Village's Events Plaza Stage by Julia Rutland, senior food editor of Coastal Living Magazine. Ms. Rutland will demonstrate easy and delicious recipes made with beer.

Saturday, October 19
On Saturday, October 19 from 2-6 p.m., the Village of Baytowne Wharf will transform into a taster's paradise with tents and nearly 200 beers from more than 40 breweries. From light pale ales and rich dark stouts to a number of bottled and yet-to-be-released fall beers - beer aficionados and novices will be able to savor the best in beer selections.  Denton Hatcher and the Soapbox Blues will provide musical entertainment from the Event Plaza.

Saturday's Beer Tasting tickets are on sale online for a reduced price of $25 per person until Oct. 18. Tickets at the door are $30.
