Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America Adds 55-inch LCD Monitor Line to Line-up

IRVINE, Calif., June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America, Inc. has added a 55-inch monitor (LDT551V) to its large display monitor line-up. The new monitor will debut at InfoComm in Orlando, June 15-17, 2011 in Booth #3400.

The LDT551V offers cutting-edge data processing and technology in an attractive modern design for installation flexibility and reliability in almost any venue.

The LDT551V has a sleek aluminum bezel frame for a stylish, modern look. It streamlines installation and reduces the number of necessary components with two built-in 10-watt speakers for on-the-fly audio. Connectivity options include DisplayPort™ for clear, crisp video and audio transmission over a single cable and RJ45 LAN support, so a connected monitor can be controlled from remote locations over a network.

The new 55-inch monitor also eliminates cable clutter with an optional CAT5 receiver that keeps image quality consistent, even with cable lengths of up to 500 feet (150 meters) between source and display.  Video and RS-485 serial-control signals can be simultaneously delivered over the same CAT5 cable, eliminating the need for a separate, distance-limiting serial-control cable.  Users can also daisy chain up to five monitors, making content delivery easy and more efficient.
