CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today MIT Technology Review (www.technologyreview.com) announced the relaunch of a Chinese-language digital operation with publishing partner Beijing Yan Yi Tech Inc. Within the next year, a series of new digital products will be released, exploring an all-new model based on the success of MIT Technology Review in the US.

MIT Technology Review China will establish an Advisory Committee of Technology Innovation. Members will be from leading tech companies, universities, research institutes, and government agencies. The goal of this committee will be to analyze, evaluate, and explainin emerging technologies that match China's development, while providing basic supports and networks for the content platform.
Brandon Zhou, Founder of Beijing Yan Yi Tech, said that MIT Technology Review China will be very focused on media technology. "Only when the media knows how to use innovative technology does it know how to present technology in the best way," he said.
Mr. Xu Chen, chief adviser of MIT Technology Review China and an angel investor in the Chinese media industry, agreed and said, "As a top technology media organization, MIT Technology Review China should follow the model of technology-oriented development, focusing on online and mobile strategies first." Xu was previously chief editor of Newsweek's Chinese edition.
