Missouri American Water Consumer Confidence Reports Available Online
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Missouri American Water has distributed its 2009 Consumer Confidence Reports, which describe the quality of drinking water in all the company's operating districts. The reports, which were included in customers' water bills during March, April and May, 2010 are now available online at www.missouriamwater.com. Customers can click on the "Find Out About Your Water Quality" link and then search for their information by typing in their city and zip code.
The annual report describes the quality of water supplied by Missouri American Water and compares it to compliance standards established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). In 2009, the company conducted thousands of tests for hundreds of substances, and all results were below state and federal allowable levels.
Missouri American Water supplies quality drinking water to approximately 1.5 million people in Brunswick, Jefferson City, Joplin, Mexico, Platte County, St. Charles County, St. Joseph, St. Louis County, Warren County and Warrensburg.
