The International Pageants system promotes community service with the majority of each contestant's competition score based on knowledge of and work with her platform. During her reign as Miss Teen International 2018, Clark will support young voter education through interactive workshops targeting elementary-aged students. Recently turning 18-years-old and a newly registered voter, Clark realized her passion for politics during the 2016 Presidential Election and recognized the need to promote the importance of voting among today's youth.
"I found that many young adults had strong feelings about the 2016 Presidential Election, yet didn't exercise their right to vote," said Clark. "This sparked my passion for politics and my platform, to work with children to educate them about our country's voting system and the importance of exercising their right to vote. With my new role as Miss Teen International, I'm excited to take my mission nationally."
Clark recently graduated with honors from high school and will attend Troy University in the fall where she'll study political science. While in high school, she served in the ROTC, was a member of her school's Student Government Association and volunteered for numerous local organizations.
During her free time, Clark enjoys creative writing, twirling, teaching swimming lessons and playing with her dog, Mr. Puddles. She describes herself as having a strange fascination with sloths and is the proud owner of a baby blue 1978 Ford Thunderbird.
