ATLANTA, March 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- GMC TV today unveiled its annual 2013 Easter holiday programming slate consisting of the new original GMC World Premiere Movie, The Carpenter's Miracle, along with "The Greatest Stories of the Bible" movie event, the original series "Heartland" and a "Miracle Sunday" marathon of family favorite series, "Touched by an Angel."
On Easter weekend, GMC TV will present its original GMC World Premiere Movie, The Carpenter's Miracle, on Saturday, March 30 and Easter Sunday, March 31 at 7, 9 and 11 p.m. ET, starring Cameron Mathison ("All My Children"), Michelle Harrison, Sarah-Jane Redmond ("Smallville") and Ryan Grantham (Diary of a Wimpy Kid). In The Carpenter's Miracle, a simple touch changes everything. Josh is just an average carpenter in a small town, but when his touch miraculously brings a dead boy back – a boy he tried valiantly to save when he fell into a freezing lake – things spin totally out of control. The media rushes to promote the act and proclaims that it is a miracle. However, there are those who are determined to debunk the entire story and Josh and the boy's mother are thrust into a whirlwind they never expected.
