Miracle Flights Hosts "Swinging" Charity Golf Social Benefiting Sick Children in Need of Distant Care

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Local nonprofit Miracle Flights will host its inaugural golf social, Swings for Wings, on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at TopGolf Las Vegas. Presented by Bank of Nevada, the evening will raise funds for critically ill children in need of medical care far from home.
Making Miracles Happen, One Flight at a Time
Since 1985, the Las Vegas–based nonprofit Miracle Flights has provided over 100,000 free commercial flights to sick children so they may receive life-altering, life-saving medical care from experts and specialists throughout the U.S. Most of these children suffer from rare conditions for which medical specialists are few and far between—and for many families, the high cost of traveling out of state for these necessary appointments and surgeries can be prohibitive.
Through the generosity of individual and community sponsors, Miracle Flights works to fill this gap and help sick children receive the care they need to get better.

Swings for Wings will boast a delicious barbeque dinner, classic cocktails, an exciting silent auction, fun golf challenges and a stunning view of The Strip...all for a great cause! Special guest appearances include famed comedian and Vegas icon Vinnie Favorito.
