Miracle Flights for Kids® Sees Substantial Increase in August Medical Flights

GREEN VALLEY, Nev., Sept. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Miracle Flights for Kids provided 690 life-saving medical flights last month—a substantial growth from the 609 flights in August 2014. This comes as an even greater increase from 518 flights in August 2013. The nation's leading health and welfare flight organization enables children with rare and life-threatening medical conditions to gain access to specialized, out-of-state medical care through commercial flights.

Miracle Flights has also been selected as one of 12 finalists in the Lightspeed Aviation Foundation's Pilots Choice Awards Grant program. Aviation-related charities are chosen to compete in an online poll, with the winner receiving a $10,000 grant.
