MINNEAPOLIS, April 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- We want to draft you, for Crew 52! In conjunction with the 2017 NFL Draft, Chad Greenway, captain of Crew 52, Minnesota's team of 10,000 volunteers for Super Bowl LII, is asking Minnesotans to tell us why they should be the next "Crew 52 draft pick."
Minnesotans who want to be drafted to Crew 52 should download a draft sign, get creative in telling us why they should be our pick and post a picture with the sign on social media using the hashtag #Crew52. The Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee will be "drafting" Minnesotans by sharing #Crew52 photos on its social media channels during the NFL Draft, April 27-29.
The Crew 52 sign is for download here: http://www.mnsuperbowl.com/crew52.
"We are looking for the best and the boldest volunteers in Minnesota to welcome more than one million visitors to the Bold North in the 10 days leading up to Super Bowl LII," said Greenway. "We need 10,000 kind and passionate individuals, who will help us extend a warm welcome to our visitors. Show us why you want to join Crew 52 and sign up to volunteer!"
Volunteers will be on the front lines of Super Bowl LII, welcoming guests to the Bold North during our 10 day Super Bowl festival. Tasks include welcoming guests to Minnesota at the airports and hotels, providing directional assistance at major transportation hubs and in skyways, and supporting our 10-day festival leading up to Super Bowl Sunday.
Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee staff will be "drafting" volunteers at the Minnesota Vikings DraftFest at U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, April 29th.
More than 9,000 people applied to join Crew 52 in just the first 48 hours of the application process and the Host Committee continues to recruit volunteers in preparation for Super Bowl LII. Crew 52 "draft picks" can fill out an online application to join Crew 52.
