WOODBURY, Minn., Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon, two dozen Humboldt High School juniors and seniors will visit the Minnesota School of Cosmetology (MSC)-Woodbury campus to learn about careers in the beauty industry.
"We think this is a great opportunity to educate local high school students about the education requirements and possible career paths within the cosmetology industry," says Jill Hocking, campus director for Minnesota School of Cosmetology-Woodbury. "It's also a chance to give them some extra pampering."
This is the fourth year the campus has done an event like this. Humboldt students will receive manicures, haircuts and hairstyles from MSC students, as well as a lunch.
