Minnesota Hospital Association Names Three New Board Members
Four others take on new roles on board
ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 12, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Minnesota Hospital Association, which represents Minnesota's hospitals and health systems, recently welcomed the following three new board members for 2011:
Standing Director
- Loren L. "Larry" Taylor, chief executive officer of North Memorial Health Care of Robbinsdale;
Trustee Director
- Clayton R. Peterson, board director for St. Joseph's Area Health Services Inc. of Park Rapids; and
At-Large Director
- Mary Maertens, CEO of Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.
In addition, four current board members will take on new positions next year. They are:
- Chair — Mary Klimp, CEO of Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague;
- Chair-Elect — Al Schilmoeller, vice chair of administration for the Mayo Clinic;
- Secretary/Treasurer — Ben Koppelman, president and CEO of St. Joseph's Area Health Services of Park Rapids; and
- Immediate Past Chair/Standing Director — Terence Pladson, M.D., president and CEO of CentraCare Health System of St. Cloud.
