Mindray Medical to Exhibit New Products at the 67th China International Medical Equipment Fair
SHENZHEN, China, April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Mindray Medical International Limited (NYSE: MR), a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices worldwide, announced today that it will attend the 67th China International Medical Equipment Fair ("CMEF") in Shenzhen, China between April 17 and April 20, 2012.
Mindray will exhibit more than 90 products from its three primary business segments, namely patient monitoring and life support, in-vitro diagnostic and medical imaging systems. The company will also demonstrate three new products: the BS-2000 biochemistry analyzer, the DC-8 ultrasound system and the SynoVent E5 and E3 ventilators.
The BS-2000 Modular System is the fastest biochemistry analyzer designed by the company. This modular system, with a throughput range from 2,000 photometric tests per hour for the single module to up to 4,400 tests per hour for dual modules with electrolyte tests, is most suitable for hospitals and clinical laboratories with high sample volumes. Together with its complete line of original reagents and calibrators with methodological traceability and controls, the BS-2000 is a versatile option that offers customers a high level of efficiency, automation and scalability. It also lays the foundation for integration with future Mindray products.
The DC-8 is a state-of-the-art ultrasound system that performs well across a wide range of physical examinations, from deep abdominal to superficial small parts, or from minute vessels to big muscular structures. Its advanced technologies and top-of-the-line image quality and ergonomics help boost the quality of patient management.
Designed specifically for the ICU, the SynoVent E5 Ventilator can be used on a wide range of patients with different complications. It has advanced ventilation modes and monitoring parameters, including APRV, DuoLevel, EtCO2 and respiratory loops, which can help doctors make decisions more effectively. Other user-friendly features include an innovative tab menu that is both rotatable and detachable for mounting onto a separate pendant as well as a 12.1-inch color touch screen. The device's smart alarm management and apnea ventilation mode can help ensure patient safety at all times.
The SynoVent E3 Ventilator is suitable for sub-actual patients. Similar to the E5, it possesses a complete range of ventilation modes and monitoring parameters, in addition to a 10.4-inch color touch screen and a tab menu.
"The CMEF has always been a great venue for us to showcase our exciting products, particularly the BS-2000 biochemistry analyzer, which is the fastest that we have designed so far, as well as the latest color ultrasound system and our brand new ventilators," said Mr. Li Xiting, Mindray's president and co-chief executive officer. "We are delighted to participate in this high-profile conference and look forward to sharing our top-quality products with other participants."
