Mina Corp Responds to Misleading Media Coverage About Business Activities in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Over the past week Mina Corp has been in close contact with the U.S. Government and the Interim Government of Kyrgyzstan to respond to media articles containing false and misleading information about the company's activities in Kyrgyzstan.  Mina Corp has confirmed to both governments that it has never had any ownership affiliations with Kyrgyz government officials, nor has it ever directed any U.S. Government funds to Kyrgyz officials.

Mina Corp has also allayed the concerns of both governments that recent political events in Kyrgyzstan may cause interruption to its delivery of fuel products to the Manas Transit Center.  The company is continuing to perform on a daily basis its vital role in the supply of U.S. forces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
