Millionaire Raffle Returns With Early Bird Bonus Drawings

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., May 2, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Tickets sales began today for the 4^th of July Millionaire Raffle, offering the Pennsylvania Lottery's best chances of winning a $1 million prize. Weekly Early Bird Bonus Drawings will also award nine additional $100,000 prizes before the main drawing takes place.

Only 500,000 tickets are available for the Millionaire Raffle drawing on July 8, which features 6,000 cash prizes totaling more than $5 million. Tickets will be available until 8 p.m. on the drawing date or until sold out.

The drawing will award four prizes of $1 million; four prizes of $100,000; 100 prizes of $1,000; and 5,892 prizes of $100.

Only ticket numbers sold are included in the random drawing. If the game sells out, each $20 ticket offers a 1 in 125,000 chance of winning one of the $1 million top prizes. The overall chances of winning any prize are 1 in 83.33.

Ticket numbers are issued sequentially as tickets are sold across the state, starting at 00000001 and ending at 00500000. To win, all digits on the ticket must exactly match a winning number selected in the random drawing.

On July 8, winning Millionaire Raffle ticket numbers will be drawn after 8 p.m. and announced after 10 p.m. at palottery.com. Players should check all tickets using scanners found at Lottery retailers or by using the Lottery's official mobile app.

Early Bird Bonus Drawings

Millionaire Raffle players do not need to take any extra steps to enter the Early Bird Bonus Drawings, which will each award one $100,000 prize. Random drawings will be conducted from among ticket numbers sold during each qualifying purchase period:

• Drawing 1 – Tickets sold May 2 to May 8.
• Drawing 2 – Tickets sold May 9 to May 15.
• Drawing 3 – Tickets sold May 16 to May 22.
• Drawing 4 – Tickets sold May 23 to May 29.
• Drawing 5 – Tickets sold May 30 to June 5.
• Drawing 6 – Tickets sold June 6 to June 12.
• Drawing 7 – Tickets sold June 13 to June 19.
• Drawing 8 – Tickets sold June 20 to June 26.
• Drawing 9 – Tickets sold June 27 to July 3.

Each drawing will include only the ticket numbers sold during the qualifying one-week purchase period and only an exact match will win.

Early Bird Bonus Drawing winning ticket numbers will be posted each week at palottery.com. To verify if your Millionaire Raffle ticket has won an Early Bird Bonus Drawing prize, scan it using the ticket checker on our official mobile app or at a lottery retailer.

Early Bird Bonus Drawing prizes must be claimed in person at one of the Lottery's seven Area Offices and cannot be claimed at a retailer or by mail. See official rules and prize claim instructions at palottery.com.

After checking the Early Bird Bonus Drawing results, players should keep their tickets for the Millionaire Raffle game drawing on July 8. It is possible for a ticket to win in both drawings.
