MillerCoors and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Establish the Louis Bullard Scholarship
Special Scholarship, in Honor of the Former NFL Player, to Benefit Jackson State University Students
NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- MillerCoors, in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), presented Jackson State University with a $25,000 check in the name of Louis Bullard, former NFL player, Jackson State alum and former MillerCoors employee. The award was presented during the kickoff of the annual TMCF Leadership Institute this past weekend in New York.

Bullard was an outstanding football player at JSU and advanced to the NFL playing for both the Seattle Seahawks and the Cleveland Browns before retiring in 1985. Prior to his death earlier this year, Bullard served as MillerCoors Distributor Sales Manager for the Nashville area. The scholarship fund is designed to provide financial assistance to Jackson State University business majors who are at least 21 with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
