MILWAUKEE, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunting-season purchases of Miller High Life and Miller High Life Light throughout Wisconsin will benefit Whitetails Unlimited, a Door County-based national conservation group dedicated to preserving the American tradition of hunting. MillerCoors and its distributors are teaming up to donate $0.50 for each 30-pack sold at retail during October and November, as well as an additional $0.05 for every bottle, can or glass sold in restaurants, bars and taverns.

The effort is part of a larger initiative dubbed "Every Beer Pours Back" focused on improving the quality of life throughout a state where MillerCoors makes a significant economic impact. The company and Wisconsin distributors employ more than 3,000 people throughout Wisconsin, with a payroll of more than $175 million. It spends $700 million annually purchasing goods and services from 1,600 local companies, and its employees and distributors support numerous charitable organizations throughout the state.

The partnership with Whitetails Unlimited allows Miller High Life and Miller High Life Light to appeal to Wisconsin's beer drinkers by supporting one of their favorite activities: deer hunting. MillerCoors will promote the partnership through point-of-sale displays and ad space in Whitetails Unlimited's magazine. Whitetails Unlimited will notify its members about the program and ask them to support it by buying the participating brands. MillerCoors projects the total donation to Whitetails Unlimited will be between $45,000 and $50,000.
