Miller Energy Resources Promotes David Wright to EVP
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Miller Energy Resources ("Miller") (NYSE: MILL) announced today that it has promoted David B. Wright to Executive Vice President – Tennessee Operations. Mr. Wright will oversee the day-to-day operations in Tennessee as well as the long term strategies for development of Miller's Tennessee acreage, emphasizing new oil production from the Mississippian Lime. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in Tennessee, and will use this experience to further enhance the Tennessee operations with strategic drilling of new wells, re-works of old wells, new acquisitions, and consolidation of existing properties. Mr. Wright is a registered professional geologist in Tennessee, as well as a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen. He has previously served as Vice President – Land, and has worked for Miller for over 10 years.
Also receiving a promotion is Chris Reneau, Miller's former Service Manager. Mr. Reneau, who has been employed by Miller for three years, will serve as Miller's new Tennessee Field Operations Manager, and report to Mr. Wright. In his new position, Mr. Reneau will be responsible for overseeing Miller's service crews, logistics and documentation of daily field activities in Tennessee, along with coordinating outside contractors and vendors.
