Miller & Smith Thinks Pink In The Fight Against Breast Cancer

MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Last month Miller & Smith, an award-winning homebuilder and real estate development company, hosted a series of "Think Pink" events to support breast cancer awareness and research. The events raised $500 to donate to the Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Center's Education, Outreach and Survivorship Fund.

Miller & Smith's events included two "Think Pink" weekends, October 21-22 and 27-28, as well as a "Think Pink" Realtor Luncheon at their Maple Lawn community in Howard County, Maryland.  During these events Miller & Smith pledged to donate $5 for each person that visited their new single family model homes. The Realtor luncheon saw a strong turnout of 54 Realtors and the weekend events were also well received with nearly 50 people touring the model homes

The Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Center's Education, Outreach and Survivorship Fund offers services to assist breast cancer patients and their families, and educates women about breast health and breast cancer. Donations enable the Center to provide programs of education, awareness, early detection and support to all who are faced with this challenging disease.
