Miller & Smith Reports 49% Increase in Home Sales for 2011

MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Miller & Smith, an award-winning homebuilder and real estate development company, today reports a 49% increase in home sales for 2011. Miller & Smith sold 304 homes in 2011 versus 204 homes in 2010, illustrating an impressive and positive trend in the Mid-Atlantic region for new home sales.

In 2011, Miller & Smith opened 11 new model homes in six communities in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia including both townhomes and single-family residences. In addition to the increase in the total number of homes sold, Miller & Smith also noted price appreciation in many of its communities ranging from 2-6% over the course of the year.

Miller & Smith is currently offering more than 28 different home designs with starting prices ranging from $234,990 to $564,990 and featuring floor plans from 1200 SF to more than 3000 SF.
