NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Hotels and Resorts North America has announced the completion of upgrades to Millennium Buffalo. Underscoring the brand's continued commitment to its U.S. hotels, the property is one of several to undergo significant changes over the past three years.
The multi-million-dollar transformation at Millennium Buffalo encompasses a new look for all 301 guest rooms and suites. Accommodations are refreshing and inviting, many with their own private patio or balcony overlooking the lush courtyard and indoor pool and some feature Jacuzzi whirlpool baths for private enjoyment.
Located just a short drive from the North American natural wonder of Niagara Falls, Millennium Buffalo is the ideal base for exploring the beauty of western New York. Guests can discover the city's rich art and culture scene with a number of nearby art galleries and museums while shoppers can take advantage of over 200 stores at Walden Galleria, only a short walk from the hotel. Additionally, the hotel features 12,000 square feet of versatile event space.
"We are thrilled to kick off the year with the announcement of enhancements to our hotel that is perfectly situated for experiencing all that New York's second largest city has to offer," said Colin Wang, Vice President Operations, North America. "We look forward to unveiling more transformed properties, starting with another of our New York hotels - ONE UN New York - this summer."
In addition, as part of a global brand refresh that has seen several of the properties being renamed, Millennium Bostonian Hotel in Boston is now The Bostonian. The AAA Four Diamond-rated boutique hotel is perched in the heart of the downtown area just across from Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Offering guests easy access to historic attractions like the North End, Seaport District and Boston Harbor, The Bostonian features 204 spacious guest rooms and suites, some with log-burning fireplaces and Juliette balconies with views of the city. For New England regional cuisine, North 26 Restaurant and Bar showcases a seasonal menu; the hotel also offers 7,800 square feet of flexible meeting spaces, including Seasons Ballroom which overlooks Faneuil Hall.
