Millennium Health Passes College of American Pathologists Inspection and Receives Continuing Certificate of Accreditation
SAN DIEGO, April 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Health, a leading health solutions company, has received accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) with zero deficiencies. Millennium Health has been CAP accredited since 2011, demonstrating continued excellence in services provided.
During the CAP accreditation process, which is designed to ensure the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients, inspectors examine the laboratory's records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management. The U.S. federal government recognizes the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program as being equal-to or more stringent than the government's own inspection program.
