KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Five lucky military service members will have some extra holiday cheer this season thanks to Pioneer Services' "Win-Win Giveaway," a contest featuring four winners of $500 and one lucky recipient of a $2,000 grand prize. What makes this contest so special: the winners will choose from a list of military-related charities, and a donation in the same amount will be made in the winner's name by Pioneer Services.
"We wanted to find some different ways to reward military families for everything they do for our country, and this contest certainly does that—and then some," said Randy Freese, chief marketing officer for Pioneer Services. "The 'pay-it-forward' concept also really gets to what the holidays are all about. While it's better to give then to receive, it's a lot more fun to do both."
The details:
- Eligibility: full time, active duty and career retired military personnel, NGR, and their spouses.
- Entries accepted starting Nov. 10, 2014, through Dec. 14, 2014, at PioneerHolidayBucks.com.
- One winner of $500 will be selected each week between Nov. 28 (Black Friday) and Dec. 17, for a total of four winners
- A grand prize winner will also be selected Dec. 17 and will receive $2,000
- The organizations available for matching donations are Patriot Paws and Homes for Our Troops
"Everyone who visits the site is also strongly encouraged to learn more about each of the very special groups we've partnered with," added Freese. "They do amazing work with military families and we're honored to be able to give them a hand this holiday season."
Service members and their spouses interested in entering can visit PioneerHolidayBucks.com.
