NEW YORK, March 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Milberg LLP announces that it is investigating potential violations of federal and state laws by Apple, Inc. ("Apple" or the "Company"), in connection with the misuse of Apple's mobile payment service, Apple Pay.
On Friday, March 6, 2015, the Wall Street Journal reported that credit cards believed to have been obtained through data breaches at Target and Home Depot, were being used to purchase big-ticket items at Apple's stores using Apple Pay. According to Apple, Apple Pay is supposed to provide "more secure payments."
