Milanoo.com Begins Relief Effort for Victims of Japan's Earthquake and Tsunami

CHENGDU, China, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Representatives of Milanoo.com announce the launch of a grassroots donation campaign to aid the victims of the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami that brought much of Japan to its knees on March 11, 2011. Beginning today, March 14, 2011, Milanoo.com will be donating $1 from every order placed by its customers to the Red Cross to be used for relief efforts in the hardest-hit areas of Japan. The donations will be collected each week and presented to the Red Cross each Monday during the time that relief and recovery efforts are going on.

Before Milanoo.com went public with its donation campaign on March 13, 2011, all Milanoo.com employees made a personal donation to the campaign. Those donations will be added to the proceeds collected from the orders placed by Milanoo.com's customers and presented to the Red Cross during the coming weeks.

During a pre-launch speech to kick off the donation campaign, Milanoo CEO, Albert Feng, explained why his company was compelled to assist those affected by the devastation in Japan.
