NEW YORK, Oct. 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- American violinist Randall Goosby has been announced as the inaugural recipient of the 2024 Harmony for Change Award presented by Midori & Friends. This prestigious accolade recognizes remarkable young musicians who have emerged as champions, leaders, and advocates for the music community.

Signed exclusively to Decca Classics in 2020 at the age of 24, Goosby is acclaimed for the intensity of his musicianship and his determination to make music more inclusive, bringing the music of under-represented composers to light. Goosby's steadfast commitment to social activism shows his dedication to fostering a more inclusive and harmonious world. Goosby will accept the Harmony for Change Award at the Midori & Friends Season of Lights Benefit on November 30, 2023.
