Ultrahaptics' CTO, Tom Carter, has been awarded the National Microelectronics Institute's Young Engineer of Year award at the annual NMI Awards dinner and ceremony on November 19th 2015 in London.
The NMI awards showcase excellence within the UK and Ireland's Electronic Systems industry, rewarding the innovation, expertise and ambition of businesses.
This year's Young Engineer of the Year award, which was described NMI CEO, Derek Boyd, as "without a doubt the most competitive of all NMI Awards" recognises individuals who demonstrate exemplary service to the advancement of the electronic engineering profession.
