MiCTA Selects Regroup To Provide Emergency and Mass Notification Services To Its Members
SAGINAW, Mich., Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MiCTA, a national non-profit cooperative purchasing organization, has selected Regroup to provide emergency notification services to its members. MiCTA's Master Service Agreement will enable MiCTA members to purchase hosted emergency notification services from Regroup at a discount.
"We are pleased to welcome Regroup as a MiCTA vendor," says Tim von Hoff, Chief Operating Officer of MiCTA. "Messaging-level broadcast communications capabilities are important to many of our members," says von Hoff. "Regroup provides the ideal multi-platform solution for members that want to offer emergency notification services. Regroup's product integrates easily with enterprise systems like Banner and Peoplesoft, as well as social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter."
"Regroup is proud to partner with MiCTA so that we can begin offering our next-generation emergency messaging and mass notification service to their partners. We invite partners to call in for a live demo so they can get a feel for our easy, effective messaging system," said Joe DiPasquale, Regroup CEO.
Using MiCTA's Master Service Agreement, MiCTA members may contract for emergency notification services from Regroup cost-effectively. MiCTA's cooperative purchasing model delivers competitively bid contracts that provide significant cost savings to its members and eliminates their need to conduct their own competitive bidding processes.
The MiCTA Master Service Agreement with Regroup is effective through August of 2013. "Regroup provides another option for our members to acquire and provide the services that are most important to their constituents," says von Hoff. "We look forward to working with Regroup."
