SAGINAW, Mich., Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MiCTA, a national technology-purchasing cooperative located in Saginaw, MI and Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana are pleased to announce the issue of a major technology-purchasing Request for Proposals. The Telecommunications, Information Services and Applications (TISA) RFP seeks proposals from qualified vendors for the following services:

- Voice over IP
- Internet Access
- Cellular and Wireless Services
- Specialty Services and Applications
- Video Integration Services
- E-911 Customer-end Solutions
- Equipment Purchases
MiCTA seeks to negotiate substantial volume purchasing discounts for these services on behalf of its membership. MiCTA's membership is comprised of thousands of major higher education institutions, K-12 schools and school districts, municipalities, non-profit organizations, hospitals and health care providers, religious and charitable organizations. Successful vendors will market discounted telecommunications and technology services to MiCTA's membership regionally or nationally for a period of not less than two years.
