MicroTech's CEO Tony Jimenez to receive Technology Award at 2016 Hispanic Heritage Awards
VIENNA, Va., Sept. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) has announced that MicroTech's CEO, Tony Jimenez to receive the Hispanic Heritage Award for Technology at the 29th annual Hispanic Heritage Awards which will be broadcast nationally on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. ET on PBS. The Awards are among the highest honors by Latinos for Latinos and are supported by 40 national Hispanic-serving institutions. The event taping will take place on September 22nd at Washington D.C.'s historic Warner Theatre.
Foundation leaders pointed to his work, not only in the field of Technology, but also as a "visionary innovator, veteran, leader, and entrepreneur." The Hispanic Heritage Foundation has given this extremely prestigious award to top educators, physicians, innovators, business professionals, community leaders, elected officials, celebrities and artists.

The audience for the Awards Ceremony includes up to 2,000 people, including members of Congress, White House officials, ambassadors, business and community leaders, celebrities and youths. The evening is co-hosted by more than 40 top national Latino organizations, and the White House hosts a briefing for the honorees and performers.
