The entellitrak case management software solution will be used across the 550 TSA facilities worldwide, creating a centralized repository for all health and safety incident reports as well as workers' compensation claims. The system will have the ability to support employee reports of unsafe or unhealthy working conditions, injuries, illnesses, property damage, accidents, and workers' compensation claims for OSHIS.
This award marks the fourth entellitrak workers' compensation implementation at DHS – Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Citizenship and Immigration Services already use entellitrak to manage workers' compensation claims. For the TSA specifically, this will be the third entellitrak implementation since 2004. The agency also employs entellitrak for passenger grievance and complaints, claims management, and employee civil rights case management. The civil rights solution has since been expanded to serve the entire 200,000-employee DHS workforce.
"This contract strengthens our long-standing relationship with TSA and the Department of Homeland Security," said Kris Collo, CEO, President and Founder of MicroPact. "This enterprise implementation shows once again what entellitrak's Data-First ™ approach to dynamic case management can do for federal agencies. By driving down the cost of claims and incident management, federal agencies are able to use more of their budgets for their core mission.
This workplace safety solution deployment is directly aligned with President Obama's POWER (Protecting Our Workers and Ensuring Reemployment) initiative, and its objective to create safer work environments for federal employees. The entellitrak platform integrates occupational safety and health data and human resources workers' compensation claims data to create actionable data for managers. The goal of such a robust solution is to reduce injuries, reduce the severity of those that occur, and to speed the return to work or light-duty assignments for those claimants that are able to do so.
