Dr. Maus is an oncologist and also the Director of Cellular Immunotherapy at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Cancer Center. She is a member of the Center for Cancer Immunology and the Department of Medicine at MGH, as well as an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Maus' laboratory focuses on creating next-generation CAR T-cells (chimeric antigen receptor T-cells). Dr. Maus trained with pioneer Carl June, MD at the University of Pennsylvania and is a leader in the field of cancer immunology with particular expertise in T-cell immunotherapies.
