Micro Center First Retailer to Host DJI Mavic Pro Experience

With the Mavic Pro, DJI has revolutionized personal flight by creating a powerful, easy-to-use drone featuring DJI's most innovative flight technology in a sleek, compressible package which can easily be carried in a purse or backpack. Its unique folding design compresses the entire drone to practically the size of a water bottle. The Mavic Pro's 12 megapixel camera with Adobe DNG RAW support records 4K video at 30fps and full 1080p HD at 96fps. The autofocus camera features minimum focusing distance of only 19 in and can be flipped 90 degrees, and includes a tripod mode for indoor use.

DJI's FlightAutonomy system is the Mavic Pro's brain and nervous system. It consists of five cameras, GPS and GLONASS navigation systems, a pair of ultrasonic range finders, redundant sensors and 24 powerful computing cores. FlightAutonomy enables the Mavic Pro to self-navigate in various intelligent flight modes and avoid most obstacles at speeds of up to 22 mph. Mavic Pro is capable of flying for up to 27 minutes, can reach top speeds of 40 mph, remains stable in winds of up to 24 mph and travels distances of up to 4.3 miles. Via cell phone, the Mavic Pro can be deployed in just one minute.
