"Micro Center is the premier bricks-and-mortar store for makers in the US, and a longstanding friend and partner of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. In the fifteen months since we launched Zero, we've been consistently impressed with their work bringing the product to market, and working to help their customers and ours understand how to get the most out of this new tool. We're delighted to be launching Zero W with Micro Center today, and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership," said Eben Upton, Co-founder and Trading CEO of the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
"We're excited about the $10 Raspberry Pi Zero W single board computer. Partnering with the Raspberry Pi Foundation is an obvious choice to make computing devices more accessible," said Kevin L. Jones, Micro Center Vice President – Merchandising. "We're also pleased that a portion of the proceeds from each sale goes to support the non-profit Raspberry Pi Foundation, where one of their goals is to drive down the cost of computer hardware for everyone."
As the largest Maker Products/DIY retailer in the U.S., Micro Center offers customers the convenience of being able to purchase popular attachments for the Raspberry Pi Zero W from Adafruit and Pimoroni at all Micro Center stores.
