This is the first time Mr. Varineau will conduct the Midland Symphony Orchestra. He is the Associate Conductor for the Grand Rapids Symphony where he also conducts the symphony's performances with the Grand Rapids Ballet.
This beloved holiday tale will captivate audiences of all ages as Clara and her Nutcracker prince embark on a magical journey to the Kingdom of Sweets and back again.
Performances are November 30, 7:30 p.m., December 1, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and December 2, 3 p.m., at Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. Saint Andrews Road, Midland, MI. Before and after performances, visitors will enjoy festive lobby decor and a family portrait area to capture special memories.
