Michigan Business and Professional Association Seeks Nominations of Successful Women for Annual Awards

WARREN, Mich., Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA) is seeking nominations of exceptional professional women to be honored at its 18th Annual "Women and Leadership in the Workplace" Symposium and Awards Luncheon. The MBPA is dedicated to recognizing women who have attained significant achievements, peer recognition and are committed to the advancement of issues related to women in the business world. This major women's event will be held February 4, 2014 at The Henry in Dearborn.

Awards will be presented to women in eight categories including business, professional, civic affairs/government, media, human service/philanthropy, education, and small business achievement, as well as Shooting Stars (under age 40). Nominations should be submitted by October 30, 2013 by visiting www.michbusiness.org or by mail: MBPA Awards Committee, 27700 Hoover Road, Warren, MI  48093.
