Michaels Announces Vendor And Supply Chain Partner Of The Year Awards

IRVING, Texas, Aug. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Michaels Stores, Inc. announced its Vendor and Supply Chain Partner of the Year Awards at the company's annual partner conference. The company hosted the event on Tuesday, August 6, 2013.  Twelve vendor and supply chain partners were recognized for their contributions to Michaels' success over the past year.

This year, Executive Vice President of Category Management Philo Pappas recognized Plaid Enterprises as Michaels' overall Vendor of the Year for product innovation, customer education and inspiration, quality products, and efficiency in supply chain. Aaron Brothers Senior Vice President, General Manager Jim King recognized Faber-Castell USA as Aaron Brothers' overall Vendor of the Year for their contribution to the growth of Aaron Brothers' kids department.
