Michael Palm to Join Evercore as a Senior Managing Director in the Industrials Corporate Advisory Practice in Chicago

Evercore (NYSE:EVR) announced today that Michael Palm has agreed to join the Firm's Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director. Mr. Palm will focus on Evercore's global efforts in the industrials sector and will be based in Chicago.

Mr. Palm was most recently a Managing Director and Global Head of the Paper, Forest Products and Packaging Group at Barclays. With over 20 years of corporate and investment banking experience focused in the paper, forest products and packaging sectors, he has advised on a number of notable strategic transactions for a range of clients, including Ball Corporation, Berlin Packaging, Berry Plastics, Multi Packaging Solutions, Pro Mach, Rexam and The Waddington Group.
