Michael Murray Appointed President And Chief Product Officer Of Wunderman Data Products
NEW YORK, July 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wunderman, the leading global digital agency, announced today that Michael Murray has joined as President and Chief Product Officer of Wunderman Data Products, a division dedicated to helping clients manage one-to-one relationships with their customers at scale. Murray will be tasked with driving Wunderman's data strategy by enhancing its portfolio of solutions and developing a differentiated offering that meets the demands of the modern-day chief marketer and chief digital officer. This appointment strongly reinforces Wunderman's commitment to the development of data products that enable clients to leverage first-party data as a key strategic asset to drive business growth. Murray will report to Wunderman Data CEO Jacques van Niekerk and will be based in Denver.
With over 25 years of experience in product management, data strategy, innovation and leadership, Murray brings a unique approach to designing and implementing data products that meet the requirements of marketers in today's omnichannel world. By collaborating with Wunderman's key cloud, technology and data partners, Murray will work to expand Wunderman's identity graph, consumer database, data cooperative and onboarding tools.

Prior to joining Wunderman, Murray served as the CEO of ItemMaster, a Chicago start-up that uses product data to power ecommerce and retail for the largest CPG companies in the US. He also served as Chief Product Officer of Catalina and as Chief Marketing Officer for Sears Holdings' ecommerce businesses. Earlier in his career, Murray spent eight years at AOL and was the founding GM of Targetbase Interactive.
