Michael Murphy Joins ABC Financial as Regional Sales Director

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Jan. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ABC Financial (ABC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Murphy as regional sales director. Murphy will oversee seven states, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Louisiana and Nevada, in his new role. ABC Financial vice president Steve Ayers made the announcement today.

Murphy, who will be based in Austin, Texas, will manage all sales operations within his territory, as well as present detailed billing hardware and software solutions and analysis to current and prospective clients.

Murphy has more than 15 years experience in the fitness industry, during which time he has managed all aspects of opening 15 new health clubs and directed the operations for more than 35 clubs across three states while working for Gold's Gym International. Prior to Gold's Gym, he worked as sales manager for a leading, worldwide supplier of industrial products and as an account executive at an advertising and marketing firm.

He is a member of the International Association of Fitness Professionals, IHRSA, and the Young Men's Business League. Murphy attended Stephen F. Austin State University.
