Michael Lehman, Former CFO of Sun Microsystems, Joins Talent Rover as Advisor and Investor
A technology executive responsible for the IPO readiness of two high growth companies, Lehman will assist Talent Rover with global expansion and scaling
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Talent Rover, provider of cloud-based software built for managing the entire staffing and recruitment workflow, today announced that Michael Lehman, former CFO of Sun Microsystems, has joined the Talent Rover Advisory Board and has invested in the company. A technology executive with over 40 years of experience growing and scaling high tech companies, Lehman will provide guidance to Talent Rover's leadership team as they continue to expand international operations and serve the world's most influential recruitment firms.
A private investor and current board member at MGIC, Solera Holdings, MapR and the University of Wisconsin Foundation, Lehman joins Talent Rover with extensive experience as a chief financial officer for high tech companies. Over the past few years, Lehman has directed the IPO readiness of two companies that are now publicly traded: Arista Networks and Palo Alto Networks.
Prior to entering the startup world, Lehman achieved recognition at Sun Microsystems, where he served two stretches as CFO after joining the company in 1987. Lehman began his career as a CPA at global accounting firm Price Waterhouse.
Lehman is well known for placing and developing executives. His protégées include six CFOs, three VP/general counsels, three chief information officers and four VPs of human resources. Lehman earned his BBA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he majored in Accounting.
