Michael Dubey Brings High-Octane Expertise to Centerplate Hospitality Leadership Role
Industry leader for NASCAR and Americrown assumes West Coast and Hawaii F&B operations
STAMFORD, Conn., Dec. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the leading hospitality provider to North America's premier sports and convention centers, announced today the appointment of hospitality industry veteran Michael Dubey to head its operations in Southern California and the Hawaiian Islands. He will be based at Qualcomm Stadium, home of the San Diego Chargers, and have additional senior oversight responsibility for the company's Hawaii locations, including Aloha Stadium, Hilo and Kona Airports, and the Ala Moana Regional Park.
A 30-year industry veteran with experience managing national hospitality operations at the regional and district levels in the Sports and Entertainment segments, Dubey's extensive background in the industry includes tenures as a VP of Food and Beverage for Americrown, overseeing hospitality at eleven NASCAR racetracks; and Regional VP for Aramark, overseeing food service, catering, and retail merchandise services for eight venues. He has established a track record of strong operational performance.
