He will focus on further advancing Gilbane's presence in both the education and mission critical markets.

Brown, brings a range of perspectives of growing markets through his many years in leadership and working in various market sectors. His prior experience includes serving as an owners representative for a school district in Smyrna, Georgia and in various management roles for Home Depot with a focus on construction, operations and procurement.

Michael D. Brown holds a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design/Space Planning from the University of Arizona. He participates in various industry organizations including: Association for Learning Environments (CEFPI) Georgia Chapter, Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), Lean Construction Institute Georgia Community of Practice (LCI), and Construction Management Association of America Georgia Chapter (CMAA) and is actively serving on local community boards and coaches his daughter's middle school cross country and softball teams.
