Data Aggregation Platform will Round Out End-to-End Retail Suite

MIAMI, Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mi9 Retail, the premier provider of enterprise retail merchandising, business intelligence and store operations software, has announced the acquisition of Gyes, an innovative data aggregation platform for the Web, along with the Gyes development team from Ft. Lauderdale-based Infinithread.

The Gyes platform will be incorporated into Mi9 Retail's Business Intelligence solution to enhance Mi9 Retail's price intelligence offering. Mi9 Retail will use the technology to develop, schedule and troubleshoot data extraction programs that translate html content into structured data. Gyes also provides a Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Program Interface (API) to consume the extracted data. The Gyes platform will enable Mi9 Retail to help its clients optimize pricing based on shifts in competitor price strategies.
