MHA Keystone Center Selects ArborMetrix to Measure Clinical Performance in Obstetrics for Improving Patient Safety & Quality of Care

ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ArborMetrix, Inc., a leading provider of real-time healthcare analytics, and the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) Keystone Center today announced that the MHA Keystone Center will use ArborMetrix's RegistryMetrix™ at approximately 60 hospitals across the state to capture obstetrics data and performance reports that will help reduce obstetrical adverse events and improve patient safety.

RegistryMetrix is an advanced clinical registry tailored for the specific needs of specialty provider groups or quality improvement collaboratives. It enables organizations such as the MHA Keystone Center to define clinical measures for a specialty's most important conditions and rapidly deploy comparative performance reports through a cloud-based platform.

• Discourage elective deliveries before 39-weeks' gestation.
• Reduce rates of post-partum hemorrhage.
• Reduce the need for newborn admissions to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
