MGM MIRAGE Earns Diversity's Top Honor
Judges laud MGM MIRAGE for employee training and 'culturally competent customer service'
LAS VEGAS, March 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MGM MIRAGE continues to earn high honors for the quality of its Diversity Initiative, including its most recent ranking on the prominent "2010 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity®" list.
MGM MIRAGE is the only company headquartered in Nevada, and the only gaming company in the United States to be recognized on the DiversityInc list for its commitment to diversity best practices.
DiversityInc judges said the MGM MIRAGE Diversity Initiative translates into excellence in customer service.

The award was recently presented by DiversityInc Magazine at its sold-out annual awards dinner in Washington, D.C.
This year, a total of 449 companies vied for a spot on the "Top 50" list. MGM MIRAGE earned a spot on the "Top 50" among other prominent companies including General Mills, Time Warner Cable, and The Walt Disney Co.
MGM MIRAGE was previously named to the list in 2006, 2007 and 2009, and was commended by DiversityInc as a "Noteworthy Company" in its 2008 awards competition.
DiversityInc is the nation's leading publication on diversity and business. The list encompasses 14 industries ranging from small regional companies to global giants. Applicants complete an intensely detailed, analytic survey with more than 200 questions measuring CEO Commitment, Human Capital, Corporate and Organizational Communications, and Supplier Diversity.
