Mexico at Forefront of World Class Sports: Sergio Perez Races in Catalunya, Spain as Part of Formula 1 Worldwide Series

Sauber Formula 1 (F1) Team, including Mexican car racer Sergio Perez, concluded yesterday a successful car race in the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit in Catalunya near Barcelona, Spain. Perez, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, finished the race in ninth place, scoring his first ever points in Formula 1 competition.

Perez, together with Japanese teammate Kamui Kobayashi, displayed great skills at the Circuit in the Sauber C30-Ferrari, a high-speed, state-of-the-art vehicle with aerodynamic efficiency, performance through low-speed corners and mechanical grip. Branding of the car, uniforms for car racers and staff, marketing collateral, and related website are part of a Premium Partnership signed between the Sauber F1 Team and Marca Pais – Imagen de Mexico.
