MetroStar Systems Continues Growth and Adds New Leadership to its Defense & Operations Team

RESTON, Va., Dec. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MetroStar Systems, Inc., a leader in information technology services and solutions, is pleased to announce the recent appointments of Michael Belcher to the position of Vice President of Defense Strategy and Operations and Michael Drickey as Senior Director of Strategic Capture.

Belcher is responsible for leading the company's operation and strategic efforts in Defense services programs and Drickey will provide his tactical and operational leadership for strategic capture.

Belcher, a retired United States Marine Corps Colonel, brings over 28 years of Defense service and experience to MetroStar Systems. As the former Director of the Marine Corps War College, he managed the joint professional education of senior military officers and government officials. During his career, he also served a wide array of command, staff, joint, and acquisitions billets to include participation in four combat operations.

Drickey, a retired United States Army Lieutenant Colonel, possesses more than 15 years of experience leading Department of Defense support programs, primarily supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense and its field operating activities. He brings significant insight and expertise to MetroStar Systems in support of its public sector clients.

Together Belcher and Drickey bring a wealth of knowledge that will align MetroStar Systems' capabilities to best meet the challenges in the public sector, specifically within the Defense community.
